Hey Jim as I'm getting deeper into the publication of comics I begin to wonder the same thing. How much time am I wasting to make posts instead of work on my writing and projects? Where is the balance between promotion and production. Email lists seem more genuine but how do I do something I like without having to manage 2-5 different platforms that ultimately become meaningless when one becomes obsolete...
That's one of the reasons I've always maintained my personal website and make sure the majority of my content stays there and that my other social media stuff sends people to the site as much as possible. Platforms come and go but my homebase online needs to stay constant.
