Matt Murray, our editor, is doing a great job finding artists for variants. Most of the covers are traditionally bad ass and then he tries to mix things up with an unexpected choice.
Jim, sounds like a crazy time! I cant wait for Conan issue 3 and the sneak peek at the next story arc is very intriguing. I fully agree with you on Barbie. There is magic in that bottle BUT, its only one bottle. The studios need to figure out that not every ( in fact few) movies need or should have a sequel. Nor should the studios immediately build a franchise around every toy line there is. That was a very cool turtle by the way!
I haven't kept up with more recent fiction releases for D&D, so I'd point you towards classic D&D novels like The Icewind Dale trilogy, the original Dragonlance Chronicles, or the Cleric Quintet.
nice turtle
That Golden Books variant cover is delightful!

What D&D books do you recommend for reading?
Do you mean D&D fiction or learning to play the game?
Fiction

That'll work for me! Thanks again for the recommendations. Keep up the great work!
