Conan continues to have great lettering! I also appreciate all the care that goes into creative touches like the special title font used to helm the different story arcs. It's a testament to the skill of Smith and Starkings that even on pages with upwards of 15 word balloons and/or caption boxes, I barely notice them at all! There's always an exceptional flow.
I don't think Robert E. Howard would have approved of Marvel adding comic-book sound effects to their Conan stories if they had done so- other than his comic Western stories, his work is rather grim in nature, and doesn't really a deserve a camp '60s "Batman" treatment.
